The program which a data processing part 2 can execute is hierarchically stored in the program area of the attachable/detachable external storage medium 5 which is constituted of a semiconductor memory. Data which the data processing part 2 uses and data which the data processing part 2 processes are hierarchically stored in the data area of the external storage medium 5. The data processing part 2 executes the program stored in the program area by using the work area of the external storage medium 5 and stores processed data in the data area.
