PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruded shape suitable for the frictional agitation welding by the rotation of a rotary body.
SOLUTION: An end part of an extruded shape 150 is projected to a rib 153 side to form a thick-walled part 156. The thick-walled part 156 is projected to an extruded shape 160 orthogonal to the direction of extrusion for further welding to constitute a projecting part 157. The projecting part 157 is overlapped on the external surface side of a plate 161 of the extruded shape 160. A rib 163 in the vicinity of a frame is cut and removed. The width L2 of the projecting part 157 is equal to the width L1 of the thick-walled part. That is, the projecting part 157 corresponds to the thick-walled part 156. A tip of the projecting part 157 is inclined similar to the thick-walled part 156. When the rotary body 70 is inserted and the frictional agitation welding is executed, a metal of the projecting part 157 or the like is fed into a gap 150c since the projecting part 157 is present above the gap 150c between end parts 150b, 160b of two extruded shapes 150, 160. The metal is also fed above the extruded shape 160. Thus, more excellent welding can be obtained as compared with the case where the thick-walled part 156 and the projecting part 157 are absent, or when only the projecting part is absent.
