To obtain a molded article excellent in external appearance, heat resistance, and dimensional stability by incorporating a vinyl chloride resin having a specified degree of polymn., a mica powder, a lead-based stabilizer, and a heat-resistant AS resin, each in a specified amt., into the same.
100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymn. of 500-2,000, 10-50 pts.wt. mica powder pref. having an average flake size of 1-100 μm, 2-7 pts.wt. lead-based stabilizer, and 10-50 pts.wt. heat-resistant AS resin are incorporated, and if necessary 0.1-2 pts.wt. tin maleate stabilizer is also incorporated. Pref., the molded item has a coefficient of linear thermal expansion lower than 4.0×10-5/°C 50-70°C and/or a heat distortion temp. of 80°C or higher. The use of a combination of at least one compd. selected from among tribasic lead sulfate, basic lead sulfite, and dibasic lead phosphite with (dibasic) lead stearate, as the lead-based stabilizer, is pref. in terms of extrudability and appearance.
