Abstract:
To provide a method for retaining a refreshing effect and an exhilarating effect for a long time by alleviating irritation by refreshing components in applying an eye lotion.
The eye lotion includes (a) refreshing components, and (b) at least a kind of thickening agent selected from methylcellulose, ethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, hyaluronic acid and its salts, dextran, and polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block copolymer, and the absolute viscosity of the eye lotion at a temperature of 20°C is 3-15 mPa s.
