Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fabric product excellent in persistency of antimicrobial and deodorizing properties suitable for clothes and beddings by effectively utilizing the antimicrobial and deodorizing properties of the epidermis and a pellicular part of a bamboo material.
CONSTITUTION: This fabric product containing fine bamboo powder is obtained by treating the surface with an adhesive for fiber containing the fine bamboo powder consisting essentially of the epidermis and a pellicular part near the epidermis of various bamboos such as Phyllostachys pubscens Mazel, Phyllostachys bambusoides Sieb. et Zucc., Sinobambusa tootsik Makino or Phyllostachys nigra Munro var. henosis Stapf on at least a part of one surface of a nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric or a knitted product. Furthermore, the fabric product containing fine bamboo powder is prepared by subjecting two nonwoven fabrics or woven fabrics to bonding treatment with an adhesive for fiber containing the fine bamboo powder consisting essentially of the epidermis and a pellicular part near the epidermis of various bamboos such as Phyllostachys pubscens Mazel, Phyllostachys bambusoides Sieb. et Zucc., Sinobambusa tootsik Makino or Phyllostachys nigara Munro var. henosis Stapf.
