Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a face milling cutter which can certainly jet pressure fluid from inside of a milling cutter body to the edge.

CONSTITUTION: A milling cutter body has a supply passage formed to supply pressure fluid and also forming a jet passage 11 emitting a jet of pressure fluid on a clamp screw 5 fixing a blade tip 19, so that the pressure fluid can be certainly injected from inside of the cutter body 1 to the blade tip 19 and moreover the pressure fluid can be injected directly and certainly from a position near the cutting blade 19 through the clamp screw 5 so as to enable exclusion of scraps, cooling, and lubrication certainly.
