Abstract:

To provide a face picture taking device capable of taking a face picture stable in quality by always keeping the illuminating condition of the face part of a person to be photographed constant even when a face position is fluctuated up and down according to feature such as the height of the person to be photographed.

In the face picture taking device for taking the face picture of the person to be photographed so that a photograph for certificate stuck to an identification card or various licenses may be formed, the direction (position) of a camera 3 is changed according to the face position of the person to be photographed 1, and also the direction (illuminating position) of an illuminating machine 2 is changed according to the direction of the camera 3, whereby the camera 3 is aligned with the face position of the person to be photographed 1.
