PURPOSE: To prevent the face of slope from getting out of shape, by stacking steel plates having long and short lengths at the upper and lower ends and a metal protector of slope face with slanting steel plate forming a slope face along a ladder and by connecting hard foamed resin block fixed by anchors and filled with sand to steel plates.

CONSTITUTION: A metal protector of slope face 5 is composed of horizontal lower and longer steel plates 2 manufactured by bending a steel net, slanting plates 4 forming the slope face inclined from the end part and horizontal lower shorter steel plates 3, and hard foamed resin blocks 1 are arranged to form a fill-up ground 13 on the improved sand ground 12 laid on the surface of a soft ground 11. And the protector 5 are stacked in parallel with each other on the stepwisely inclined face and the lower longer steel plates 2 are placed on the upper face at the end part of the blocks 1 and fixed by metal anchor blocks 6. And planting mats 14 to which seeds are attached on the inner face of slanting steel plates 4 and soil or sand 7 are charged between the end part of the blocks 1 and respective planting mats 14. In this way, a reinforced face of slope can be constructed.
