PURPOSE: To eliminate the burden of an operator and to improve job efficiency by preliminarily storing ordering information for every transmission destination of a facsimile mail equipment, reading information if information including the transmission destinations is received and transmitting this information to the mail equipment.

CONSTITUTION: When the DTMF/DP reception part 3 within a facsimile adapter 1 receives transmission destination information such as a dial number, etc., as a DTMF signal or a DP signal via a facsimile equipment I/F part 2, the reception part 3 converts the information into the signal form which is capable of being stored in a storage part 4 and stores the information in the storage part 4 via a control part 10. Next, whether the dial number included in the information is pertinent to the dial number of the facsimile equipment which is preliminarily stored in the storage part 4 or not is decided. If the dial number is not pertinent, the number is made to be received by the reception part 3, the information stored in the storage part 4 is transmitted to a public line 11 via a DTMF/DP transmission part 6 and a PSTN I/F part 8 and a destination facimile terminal is made to originate a call.
