Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a facsimile communication by selecting one of plural facsimile equipments decided in advance when communication is not applied with an inputted destination and sending picture information to a facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:When the dial number of the 1st destination is given to a facsimile equipment 1, a main control section 12 starts communication to the 1st destination. In this case, the 1st destination is busy, the control section 12 recognizes it and seeks a facsimile equipment substituted for the 1st destination based on the data registered in a communication information memory 10. The control section 12 extracts facsimile equipments 3, 4, 5 in the 1st group as the 2nd, 3rd and 4th destinations respectively. The control section 12 selects the device 3 of the 2nd destination, sends picture information and transmits the sending of the picture information to the 1st destination. Thus, the efficiency of the facsimile communication is improved.
