PURPOSE: To attain the reservation of transmission to a destination of a private line and a general line with one transmission reservation operation and one original read operation.

CONSTITUTION: A facsimile equipment 1 is provided with an operation panel section 11, a CPU 12, a reservation buffer section 13 in which setting of destination designation and reserved time or the like is described, a picture data 14, a line control section 15 accommodating both a general line and a private line and an identification section 12-1 identifying a specific dial number. Then the specific dial number is given to the destination of the private line to implement the reservation transmission to a general line destination and the reservation transmission to a private line destination for the same original through one transmission reservation operation.
