Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure-judging device of a wheel speed sensor for appropriately judging the presence or absence of the failure in a wheel speed detection system including the wheel speed sensor when the wheel speed that is detected by the wheel speed sensor indicates a stop state.
SOLUTION: The failure-judging device of wheel speed sensors is provided with an engine speed detection means 22 for detecting an engine speed NE, an input/output rotary ratio calculation means 12 for calculating an input/output rotary ratio ETR of a torque converter 4a, a shift range detection means 21 for detecting the shift range of an automatic transmission 4, a drive state judgment means 11 for judging the drive state of a vehicle 2 based on the engine speed NE and the input/output rotary ratio ETR, and a wheel speed sensor failure judgment means 11 for judging that the wheel speed detection system including the wheel speed sensor 25 has failed when it is judged that the wheel 2 is driving and at least one of the wheel speeds VW1-VW4 being detected by the wheel speed sensor 25 indicates a stop state.
