Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device which enables smooth opening and closing by holding any part of a fall prevention rod, and can surely prevent falling of an article.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device 10 of the present invention comprises: a laterally oblong fall prevention rod 12 which can change its position between a fall prevention position crossing a storage opening 86 and a retreat position opening the storage opening 86; a pair of support arm parts 40 between which the fall prevention rod 12 is bridged at one side thereof; a pair of fixtures 20 which are mounted to support posts 82a, 82b and have a locking groove 21 having an opening part 22 and a support long hole 25; a support rod 30 which is rotatably bridged at the other side of the pair of support arm parts 40 and whose both ends are fitted into the support long holes 25; and a pair of swinging parts 50 whose one part is non-rotatably mounted with the support rod 30 and whose other part is rotatably journaled to each fixture 20.
