Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for highly accurately detecting a falling rock state of a dangerous region so as to predict and alarm a landslide disaster beforehand.
SOLUTION: The apparatus consists of a transmitting means 4 for microwaves and a receiving means 5 for microwave beams from the transmitting means. A monitor means is counterposed so that the microwave beams are disturbed by a falling rock 3 to be detected. A signal-processing means 6 detects a generation state of the falling rock 3 on the basis of a level change of a reception signal of the microwave beams.
