To provide a fan shroud mounting structure which prevents the generation of an abnormal noise due to vibration of a running automobile, while maintaining efficient attaching work of the fan shroud.

The fan shroud mounting structure, which serves to attach a fan shroud 2 so as to face a vertical plane 3a of a heat exchanger 3 installed vertically in the automobile, is equipped with: a pin 10a protruding downwards from a lower end 10 of the fan shroud 2; an engagement part 32a which is formed in a predetermined position on the side of the vertical plane 3a of the heat exchanger 3 and has a predetermined fit clearance for receiving the pin 10a; and a position fixing part 50 which has elasticity in a facing direction between the heat exchanger 3 and the fan shroud 2, and is disposed between the vertical plane 3a and the lower end 10. The position fixing part 50 serves to bias the lower end 10 by its elastic force in a direction away from the vertical plane 3a so that the pin 10a is engaged with the engagement part 32a in a direction away from the vertical plane 3a within the fit clearance.
