To simply and easily open and close a fastening band with small force.

The fastening band includes: a first half-round ring 3 and a second half-round ring 4; an arm 8 having its one end hinge-connected with an end of the first half-round ring 3; a lever 9 hinge-connected with the other end of the arm 8 at a separate position from a base end 9a; an engagement shaft 11 on the base end side of the lever 9; and a connecting protrusion 12 on the outer peripheral surface of end of the second half-round ring. The connecting protrusion 12 includes: a connecting recess 12a engageable with the engagement shaft 11, on the outward side in the radial direction of the ring; and a separating recess 12b engageable with the engagement shaft 11, on the opposite end side of the hinge-connected side to the connecting recess. The opening and closing operations can be performed with prying small force, and also can be performed in a single step operation to only turn the lever. When the fastening band is opened, it is more largely opened by further turning the lever, with the lever engagement shaft 11 engaged with the separating recess 12b.
