Abstract:
To provide: a progression suppressing paste for fatigue crack which is high in viscosity on a place having no fatigue crack and extremely low shearing speed and becomes low in viscosity on the place where a shearing speed increases accompanying occurrence or propagation of fatigue crack, or opening/closing behavior thereof; a progression detecting paste; a progression suppressing method for fatigue crack; and a progression detecting method.SOLUTION: A progression suppressing paste for fatigue crack is characterized in that the paste is a paste 2 having a thixotropy not to droop down by empty weight; a paste grain has a diameter of 20 μm or less; the thixotropy index TI of the paste is 0.3 to 1.6; and the apparent viscosity ηof the paste is made to be 88(Pa s) or more when the shearing speed is 0.1(1/s) and 13 to 490(Pa s) when that speed is 1(1/s).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
