PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change over a cam without needing a troublesome exchange operation when a seam is changed in a feed gear of a cycle sewing machine including a button attaching operation.
SOLUTION: In a cycle sewing machine provided with a forward and backward feeding cam 6 and left and right feeding cam 4, the forward and backward feeding cam 6 has two cam parts 5, 37. A change-over means capable of selectively changing over the two cam parts 5, 37 is provided. Two swinging members 31, 32 engaging with two cam parts 5, 37 provided on the forward and backward cam 6 to swing independently of each other and a forward and backward feed adjusting member 21 are provided. Each of two swinging members 31, 32 engages with the forward and backward feed adjusting member 21 and they have arcuate guide parts 33, 34 centering around a pivotal center 25 of the forward and backward feed adjusting member 21. The swinging center 11 of one swinging member 31 is on the same are as the guide part 33. The respective guide parts 33, 34 are located on the same are in the start of the sewing machine.
