The feeder of casting sand for sampling supplies casting sand to a sand testing means 108 by taking out casting sand for sampling from a casting sand transporting means 104 that transports casting sand to be used for cast molding. The feeder includes: a sand logging device 121 that has a sand feeding port 101c in one end and a sand discharging port 101d in the other end; a sand charging shoot 107 whose one end communicates with the sand discharging port of the sand logging device and the other end communicates with the sand testing means; an opening/closing gate 112 installed on the sand charging shoot; and a sand temperature measuring means that is installed in the sand charging shoot and that measures temperature of the casting sand collected on a gate board 112a in the opening/closing gate.
