PURPOSE: To prevent failure in feeding and jamming of paper efficiently by providing a flexible guide plate at the under surface side of the stationary guide plate of a feeder for copying paper provided with said stationary guide plate.
CONSTITUTION: A feeder 1 for copying paper is provided with a stationary quide plate 20 in an inclined state between a feed roller 17 and driving and driven feed rollers 18, 19, and is provided with a "Lumirror "21' as a flexible quide plate 21 which is vertically oscillatable with the end parts on the rollers 18, 19 sides as sticking base points, at the under surface side of said quide plate 20. The free end of the "Lumirror "21' is placed on the driving shaft 16 of the roller 17. A microswitch 22 is fixed on the top surface side of the plate 20, and a switch lever 22a thereof is projected through the hole 20a punched to the plate 20 to the under surface side of the plate 20. Copying paper P is transferred smoothly along the under surface of the "Lumirror "21'.
