Abstract:

To easily perform a sewing operation by a sewing machine.

A feeding body 15 for intermittently feeding a body 6 to be sewn forward as the body 6 to be sewn is sewn in a sewing part 10 is provided near the sewing part 10. A pair of rollers 16 and 17 turned mutually in opposite directions around respective axial centers synchronized with the feeding body 15 for which the axial centers are respectively extended to the left and right are provided in front of the feeding body 15. A part where the respective outer peripheral surfaces of both rollers 16 and 17 face each other is turned to a holding part 18 for holding a part of the body 6 to be sewn and the body 6 to be sewn held by the holding part 18 is fed forward by the turning of the respective rollers 16 and 17. An annular belt 26 circulated and moved synchronized with the feeding body 15 is provided. The part of the body 6 to be sewn from the sewing part 10 to the holding part 18 is held by the forward motion part 27 of the belt 26 moved forward and the upper surface 5 of a work table 3.
