The felt for papermaking uses a woven fabric comprising substantially twistless or nearly twistlessly loosely twisted multifilament yarns where at least one of machine-direction(MD) filament yarns and cross-machine-direction(CMD) filament, disposed on the wet paper side of the ground body of the felt, are each made by bundling together a plurality of filaments each 100 dtex or less in fineness.
