Title:
FEMALE TERMINAL STRUCTURE OF BUS BAR FOR PTC ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3009016
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent relative position deflection between a PTC element electrode and a female terminal, and provide a stable continuity condition by regulating a set position of the PTC element electrode along the width by a side edge part of a resilient contact member of the female terminal.
CONSTITUTION: In a PTC element 300, element electrodes 301 are formed on both sides of a lower part thereof, and by inserting the element electrode 301 between a resilient contact member 2 and a fixed contact member 3 composing a female terminal 1, it is connected to a bus bar through the female terminal 1. This insertion can be achieved easily because it is guided by a diagonal guide surface formed at an upper part of the female terminal 1, and the element electrode 301 can be set at a specified position through between engagement parts 4 on both sides. Each engagement part 4 is applied to an outer side edge part of the element electrode 301 at this time, and a set position of the element electrode 301 along the width is regulated by a side edge part of the resilient contact member 2 of the female terminal 1. Relative deflection of the set position between the element electrode 301 and the female terminal 1 can thus be eliminated.
