Title:
FERROUS SOFT MAGNETIC SINTERED BODY AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11293420
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a ferrous soft magnetic sintered body in which the formation of pores is suppressed, the prolongation of the service life of a cutting tool is attained as well, and furthermore, magnetic properties of ≤5.00 e coercive force Hc and ≥10.0 kG magnetic flux density B25 can be satisfied.

This ferrous soft magnetic sintered body is the one obtd. by mixing ferrous metal powder with glass powder and executing baking, in which the compsn. of the glass powder is composed of sodium oxide by 0.03 to 10 wt.% expressed in terms of Na2O, aluminum oxide by 3 to 10 wt.% expressed in terms of Al2O3, silicon oxide by 9 to 60 wt.% expressed in terms of SiO2, calcium oxide by 0.005 to 15 wt.% expressed in terms of CaO, barium oxide by 0.1 to 30 wt.% expressed in terms of BaO and zinc oxide by 0 to 65 wt.% expressed in terms of ZnO, and this is contained by 0.3 to 2.0 wt.%.
