Abstract:

To provide a thermoplastic cellulose ester fiber having high heat resistance while having a dry touch feeling.

The thermoplastic cellulose ester fiber consists essentially of a cellulose ester having an official moisture regain of 1.0-3.5% and a glass transition temperature of 155-200C and substituted with at least a 3-19C acyl group. A fiber structure is composed of the thermoplastic cellulose ester fiber.
