PURPOSE: To provide a composite yarn-like article capable of preventing its slipping and dropping at a fixed part, when used as a pulling member for a PC structure.

CONSTITUTION: A fiber composite yarn-like article is produced by subjecting the outer periphery of a fiber core impregnated with a thermosetting resin to the first wrapping treatment and the second wrapping treatment and then twisting a plurality of the product. One of the above wrapping treatments is performed in a distance-free state in one direction, while the other is performed in the reverse direction in a state having such as distance as forming projections and depressions on the surface. The formation of the projections and depressions on the surface of the fiber core in the other wrapping treatment increases resistance against the pulling-out of the fiber core and prevents its dropping.
