Abstract:
PURPOSE: A fiber-forming copolyamide, consisting of nylon 6 containing N,N'- bis(γ-aminopropyl)piperazine (BAPP), and having a terminal amino group concentration higher than the terminal carboxyl group concentration by a specific value and improved heat resistance.
CONSTITUTION: N,N'-Bis(γ-aminopropyl)piperazine (BAPP) in an amount of preferably 0.2W5wt%, alone or with another copolymerization component, e.g. ethylenediamine or hexamethylenediamine, is added to a synthesizing system of nylon 6 and copolymerzed to adjust the terminal amino group concentration to a value 10 equivalents or more higher than the terminal carboxyl group concentration and give the aimed copolyamide.
EFFECT: Characteristics dyeable with acid dyes in a deep color.
