Abstract:
To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material which is excellent in dimensional stability and transparency by inhibiting the heat deterioration of a cellulose fiber during the production and processing of the fiber-reinforced composite material; and to provide an optical member.
The fiber-reinforced composite material comprises cellulose fibers, a binder resin, and a matrix resin, characterized in that above cellulose fibers form a network structure and are incorporated into the binder resin, the above binder resin has a coupled structure in the above matrix resin, and the composite material exhibits mean light transmission of 70% or higher at a wavelength of 400 to 800 nm in terms of 50 m thickness.
