Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, capable of providing molded products having sufficient rigidity and impact resistance and gray colored specifications and suitable for automotive wheel caps, etc., by blending a mixed polymer of PP and PP having carboxyl groups introduced thereinto with reinforcing fiber treated with a silane and specific coloring component. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. mixed polymer of polypropylene and polypropylene having carboxyl groups introduced thereinto with (B) 10-50 pts.wt. reinforcing fiber (e.g. glass fiber) treated with a silane and (C) 0.5-2 pts.wt. coloring component prepared by adding 20-50 pts.wt. (C2) dispersing agent (e.g. polyethylene wax) to (C1) 100 pts.wt. two- component pigment of zinc sulfide and carbon black.
