Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a place (shelter) in which a person can protect himself/herself even in the case where he/she suffers from such a disaster that a house collapses due to an earthquake and the like when he/she stays in the house.SOLUTION: Seismic strengthening is achieved by a method in which a high-strength fiber sheet is stuck to each of important positions in a shelter including furniture such as a table and a double bunk for general purposes, originally comprising a shelter space capable of securing a person's own safety. Thus, the occurrence of a fatal accident is prevented because these pieces of furniture do not rupture even when subjected to mechanical shock such as the collapse of a house, caused by an earthquake.
