Abstract:
To provide a sizing agent for a fiber which suppresses fuzzing and is excellent in openability.SOLUTION: A sizing agent composition for a fiber contains an aliphatic alcohol alkylene oxide adduct (A) and a polyester resin (B), wherein the polyester resin (B) is obtained by reacting a dicarboxylic acid or its anhydride (b1) and diol (b2), the diol (b2) contains at least each one of first diol (b21) having a (poly)oxyethylene group having the number of oxyethylene groups per the (poly)oxyethylene group of 1-9, and second diol (b22) having the number of oxyethylene groups per the polyoxyethylene group of 10-60, and contains 5-40 pts.wt. of the aliphatic alcohol alkylene oxide adduct (A) with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the polyester resin (B).SELECTED DRAWING: None
