Title:
FIBER TYPE PHOTOELECTRIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012138363
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fiber type photoelectric sensor which, when installed as a set of plural units, makes it possible to reduce an actual occupancy width per channel.

The photoelectric sensor comprises two pairs of light-projecting circuit and light-receiving circuit corresponding to a first and a second channel; a single CPU which exerts detection operation on two detection channels in a time-multiplexed manner; two output lines corresponding to two detection channels; four fiber insertion openings disposed vertically on the front, the lower two constituting a light-projecting/receiving pair for the first detection channel and the upper two constituting a light-projecting/receiving pair for the second detection channel; and a first and a second numeric display unit which each can display a multiple-digit number in a row along a longer direction of the case and are disposed at the top of the case in a row along a longer direction thereof. The first and the second numeric display units are configured to be able to display the received amount of light on the first detection channel and the received amount of light on the second detection channel, respectively.
