PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of the back-trace result of a file by creating the file in an execute form by linking plural object files.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a compiler 2 to translate plural source files 1 into plural object files 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d... and to register special symbols to the respective object files 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d..., and linker 6 to create an execute form file 7 by linking the plural object files 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d... created by this compiler 2. to retrieve the special symbols of the respective object files 3a. 3b, 3c, 3d, to extract symbol value '1' or '0' corresponding to these symbols from a symbol table 5, and to register the symbol valve '1' to the execute form file 7 when all the symbol values are '1'.
