To manage and use contents with ease and efficiency.

First, a disc ID data base composed of information relating to a unique disc ID for each disc is configured. The disc ID data base is updated when an unregistered new disc is used and when checking out or checking in is done. When ripping a CD and so on, reservation disc for checking out is specified relating to the registered disc ID on the disc ID data base.After finishing checking out reservation, when a disc having the disc ID used for the reservation is connected, checking out is automatically done. Therefore controlling and using contents can be done with ease and efficiency.
