PURPOSE: To provide a filing device capable of quickly, simply and multilaterally retrieving and selecting other picture information relating to picture information being selected or executed at its processing such as display at present.
CONSTITUTION: The filing device is provided with an auxiliary information detection means 107 detecting an auxiliary information such as a tile and a keyword for a picture information being selected at present, a retrieving condition storing means 104 for storing one or plural retrieving conditions, a retrieving condition setting means 105 for setting up a retrieving condition stored in the means 104 as necessity, and a retrieved result informing means for informing an operator of a retrieved result and constituted so as to retrieve other picture information stored in a picture information storing means 102 in accordance with the auxiliary information detected by the means 107 and the retrieving conditions stored in the means 104 and inform the operator of the retrieved result by the retrieved result informing means.
