Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film elimination device and film elimination method for a CRT panel in which a film on a panel surface of a cathode-ray tube can be effectively and easily eliminated.
SOLUTION: A holding mechanism part 100 positions and holds a cathode-ray tube 10 as a panel surface is directed downward, and moves the cathode-ray tube 10 in a Y-direction. In the meanwhile, a polishing mechanism part 200 pressure-contacts and rotates a polishing head 280 to the panel surface of the cathode-ray tube 10 held by the holding mechanism part 100 from the underside by a pressure mechanism 220 and a rotation mechanism 240. An X-direction moving mechanism 300 moves the polishing head 280 along curvature of the panel surface of the cathode-ray tube 10. An injection mechanism supplies polishing liquid to a center part of the polishing head 280, and eliminates a sputter film coated on the panel surface of the cathode-ray tube 10 by polishing work.
