PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film unit that is low in price and allows a user to enjoy a unique style of photographing readily. SOLUTION: For the barrel-shaped curvature of a lens 40 installed in this unit, increasing the distortion aberration in the minus direction diminishes the wide-angle aberration spontaneously. By composing the lens 40 from, in the order from an object, a meniscus-like negative lens 41 orienting its convex surface toward the object and a meniscus-like positive lens 42 orienting its concave surface toward the object, and by forming the object side lens surface 41a of the negative lens 41 and the image side lens surface 42b of the positive lens 42 in an aspherical shape, the increase of the spherical aberration is suppressed so that the curvature of the field is so corrected as to be in a good condition.
