Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the friction charge caused when a combustible org. solvent passes through a filter material and safely filter the solvent by forming a filter material layer containing a conductive region and providing a means letting charge potential escape and an electrically connectable means to the conductive region.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a conductive nonwoven fabric 11 obtained by applying nickel plating processing to a polyester spun bond nonwoven fabric is wound around a porous core 12 made of stainless steel in an A-direction to form a cartridge filter constituted of the porous core containing a conductive region and the filter material layer containing a conductive region provided outside the core. By earthing the cartridge filter from the porous core 12, charge potential can be let escape. By this constitution, since charge potential is removed to the outside even when static electricity is generated by the friction of a liquid to be treated such as a combustible org. solvent and the filter material layer, no spark discharge is generated and the combustible org. solvent can be safely treated.
