To provide a filter material for deodorization and moisture adjustment for creating a comfortable, safe and sanitary building space by the deodorization/ resolution and moisture adjustment of vaporized organic compounds or odor gas in the building space by applying the filter material to an air-conditioner or a fan.
The filter material consists of a deodorizing/moisture adjusting base material folded in bellows with appropriate width and length or formed in the wave shape, or formed of three-dimensional woven fabrics or knitted woven fabrics or knit fabrics, or consists of an appropriate number of layers of the deodorizing/moisture adjusting base material. The deodorizing/moisture adjusting base material comprises thread with a prescribed diameter, woven or knitted with a knot of 0.5 to 10 mm, and an adhesive layer with an appropriate adhesive is formed on the surface of the thread of the base material. Further, artificial zeolite powder is homogeneously dispersed and bonded at a rate of at least 20 g/m2 in weight to the outer surface of the adhesive layer. The average particle diameter of the zeolite powder is 30 μm or lower, the specific surface area is at least 70 g/m2, the base substitution capacity (meq/100 g) is at least 160 mg, and the moisture absorption capacity is at least 50%.
