Abstract:

To provide a filter medium for a ventilation fan/range hood, which is composed of flameproof treated fiber layers, the oil collecting efficiency of which is not deteriorated, which has an excellent external appearance and the thickness and dimensions of which can be kept.

When this filter medium for the ventilation fan/range hood is composed of flameproof treated fiber layers, namely, a front surface layer, an intermediate layer and a rear surface layer from an air inflow side to an air outflow side, the density of the front surface layer and that of the rear surface layer are made lower than that of the intermediate layer.
