To provide a filter provided with a practical means for preventing firm adhesion of living things such as shells, algae, microorganisms, and bacteria contained in an object fluid to be filtered to a main body container.
The filter comprises a cylindrical main body container 1, a cylindrical filtration element 2 installed in the main body container 1 coaxially with the main body container 1 for removing foreign matter container in a fluid, a flow-in pipe 3 attached to the main body container 1 for introducing an object fluid to be filtered, a flow-out pipe 6 attached to the main body container 1 for discharging the fluid filtered by the filtration element 2, and a container cover 4 attached to an end part in the axial direction of the main body container 1 and the main body container 1 is plated by hot dip plating with a metal containing zinc and/or aluminum as a main component.
