Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration/drying apparatus wherein a high concentration slurry of a relatively small amount (e.g. about 1 m3) can be filtrated and dried effectively, and the total amount of a cake after drying can be discharged surely, and further decomposition and cleaning of the inside are facilitated. SOLUTION: There are provided a pressure-resistant vessel 12, which can contain a high concentration slurry and possesses a lower surface, free to open and close; a filtration plate 14 which clogs liquid tightly the lower surface of the pressure-resistant vessel 12 and includes a filtration section for communicating upper and lower surfaces; a stirring apparatus 16 including a stirring blade 16a separated away at a predetermined interval from an upper surface of the filtration plate; and a filtration plate movement/rotation apparatus 18 for moving the filtration plate from the lower surface of the pressure-resistant vessel to a lower portion and making the filtration plate rotate about the center shaft of the filtration plate at a high speed; and cake is discharged by the centrifugal force, by moving the filtration plate from the lower surface of the pressure resistant vessel to a lower portion and making the filtration plate rotate at a high speed about the center shaft of the filtration plate.
