Abstract:
To provide a filtration processing method that can form a filter material layer suitable for deep layer filtration by consolidating a settleable granular fiber filter material supplied into a filtration tank on a front stage of a filtration processing process.SOLUTION: In a filtration processing method that consolidates a settleable granular fiber filter material 3 on a front stage of a filtration processing process S4, the filtration processing process S4 is started after a consolidation process S2 in which consolidation water accumulated in a filtration tank 2 is drained from a bottom and a fiber filter material 3 is compressed to form a filter material layer 5, and a return prevention process S3 in which a return prevention member 11 engaged with a screw shaft 10 is so made as to stand on a surface layer of the filter material layer 5 and consolidation of the filter material layer 5 is maintained, are performed. Before the filter material layer 5 is compressed by water flow in the consolidation process S2 and is expanded to an upper open surface due to a repulsive force thereof, the return prevention member 11 is so made as to stand on the surface layer of the filter material layer 5, whereby expansion of the filter material layer 5 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
