Title:
FINE POWDERED COAL BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61184309
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease NOx without increasing unburned parts in exhaust gas, by a method wherein a revolving power giving means of the primary air is provided in the primary air passage in a fine powder coal burner which is provided with the primary air passage, the secondary air passage and the tertiary air passage which serve both as conveying of fine powder coals.

CONSTITUTION: Fine powder coals 4 ground by a mill are introduced in the primary air passage 20 under conveyance by air, and are injected in a fire oven 19 from the primary air blow exit 17 after being given revolving power by a swirler 23. Since specially super fine dust coals within conveyed dust coals are apt to be wouned along the inner surface of a flame retention ring 8, it contacts here with the secondary air which is supplied from the secondary air blow exit 14 and generate stable oxide flame. Namely, almost all dust coals are mixed with the primary first air, and, in other words, is heated at the low O2 partial pressure area, and nitrogen parts in the dust coals are converted to chemically stable N2 after evaporating. Unburned parts are completely burnt mixing the tertiary air after conversion.
