PURPOSE: To confirm a fire without sending a person and shorten the time up to confirmation by making a monitor device main body movable and controlling it from a monitor center, and photographing the state in a room through a camera and sending it to the monitor center at any time.

CONSTITUTION: The monitor device main body 3 can move on the flank of a building 1 through guide wheels. A moving device 4 which move this monitor device main body 3 is equipped with a position control part, a travel mechanism, and a monitor device elevation mechanism, and controls them according to position control information from the automatic control part of the monitor center 2. The monitor device main body 3 makes a radio communication with the communication control part of the monitor center 2 by a communication control part in the monitor device main body 3 to control the camera, adjust the attitude, expand a rod for fixation, and perform ON/OFF control over a lighting device through the control part according to the control information from the monitor center 2. Then an image photographed by the camera, on the other hand, is sent to the monitor center 2 through the communication control part.
