PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fishline having sufficiently high flexural strength, flexibility and tensile strength by wrapping a tensile strength part with an electrically conductive member followed by monolithically covering with a covering member.

CONSTITUTION: A filamentous tensile strength part 11 made of a tensile strength member is provided close to the center of the cross section rectangular to the longer direction of a fishline and spirally wrapped with an electrically conductive member 14 made of an electrically conductive material such as fine metallic wires. Then, the electrically conductive member is peripherally covered with a covering member 16 such as polyurethane rubber.
