Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate fitting a metallic annular member on a FRP-made shaft.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive is applied to the engaged part of a CFRP-made axle 1, a metal-made sleeve 2 is engaged to be contactedly mounted, and a brake disk seat 3 is pressed in the sleeve 2. Consequently a metalmade annular member can be simply fitted without applying machining to the FRP-made shaft. Besides, demounting can easily be done by disassembly.
