PURPOSE: To simplify operation and to facilitate storage by disposing a fixed form pattern original B, on which fixed form patterns such as characters, figures, and dots are marked, into a cassette housing so that it is freely fed and wound.

CONSTITUTION: In the fixed form pattern original B, a dot 37, or a page character 38 and a registration mark 39 corresponding to the page character 38 are marked in a belt-like body 36, and the original B is provided in the cassette housing 31. A fixed form pattern original cassette 30 is wound between both the driving roll 32 and follower roll 33 in the cassette housing 31; the shaft 32a of the driving roll 32 is freely attached to and detached from the output shaft 34a of a motor 34 provided on the upper wall 1a of the main body of a copying machine, and is positioned by a positioning piece 35 to be set onto an auxiliary platen 29. Therefore, the fixed form pattern original can be set by replacing the whole cassette. This simplifies operation and facilitates storage.
