Abstract:
PURPOSE: To excellently maintain the fixed speed control characteristic independently from the gear shift position and the travelling condition.
CONSTITUTION: A gear shift position deciding means 16 decides the gear shift position on the basis of the travelling speed and the engine speed. A travelling condition judging means 14 judges the engine power performance characteristic, which is sent from an engine power performance setting means 13, corresponding to the gear shift position decided by the gear shift position deciding means 16 and the travelling condition on the basis of the throttle open degree and the target car speed. A control gain deciding means 18 decides the control gain on the basis of the gear shift position and the travelling condition. A control quantity adjusting means 19 adjusts the control quantity of an actuator means 17A on the basis of the control gain and the computed control quantity to control the fixed speed travelling.
