Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the surface temperature of a fixing roller with which the fixing device of an image forming device is provided by efficiently making it near to target temperature and to optimally control the temperature of the fixing roller. SOLUTION: A current is controlled to be alternately and independently supplied to a vertical and a horizontal heating wires 104 A and 105 A inserted between the core bar of the fixing roller and the rubber material of the fixing surface of the fixing roller so as to keep the surface temperature of the fixing roller constant. When a trigger signal Tr1 (Tr3) is ON-outputted by a main body control circuit and inputted to a vertical heating wire current restriction circuit 170 (horizontal heating wire current restriction circuit 180), the current is supplied to the wire 103 A (wire 105 A) by the current value Z of a normal energizing time. When a trigger signal Tr2 (Tr4) is ON-outputted, the current supplied to the wire 103 A (wire 105 A) is restricted to the value 1/2Z being half of the normal time.
